Applying Orientation Property in SCADA(Intouch)

Orientation property is a very important property which help you to create a application which requires moving a line or anything you would like. One of the most famous example is in making a garage Door open with the help of Orientation property.

You can apply these property by following the below steps.
1. Open Intouch and make a new application.

2.Draw a line and double click on it,which will open a property box.



3.Then in Miscellaneous their will be 5 property click on orientation.

4.Now the main work start from here . you will have to be very careful while filling the information in Orientation.



In the above figure, Put slider tag name in Expression field, then in below field which is marked by Rectangle in put the value you wanted .

i)Value at Max CCW :- If you want to rotate line counter clockwise then put max value till which you want to move the line.

ii)CCW Rotation: Put the angle to which you want to rotate it.

iii)Value at Max CW :- Put the value from where you want to start rotation (It will be less then Value at Max CCW while rotating Counter clockwise)

iv)CW rotation : Put Zero "0" here.

V) Center of Rotation : X (Horizontal) :- Put half the length of line here with negative sign if you want it to rotate it from left side.
Y (Vertical) :Put half the length of line with negative sign if you want it to rotate it form top.


Now that all you have to do go to RUNTIME at top right of Intouch and move the slider now you can see your line rotating.
